6 bottles have been corked including this last one. Tasting notes are from 18 March 2017. There is no denying that when this vintage from Cockburn present clean, it is in the top vintage of 1983. Nevertheless this vintage has globally shown a high incidence of cork defect. The former winemaker of Cockburn, Miguel Corte-Real has admitted that there was a “significant problem” with this vintage.
