Charles Neville Skeffington founded this House in the end of 19th century as partner of the Yeatman family. Skeffington is one of the least known port wine houses. Skeffington do not own any vineyards, but the base of their Vintage is sourced from Quinta de Vale dos Muros.

TasteFull-bodied. Mature and peaking but still some elegant tannins and will maybe be better. Herbs, violet, some cacao, dark chocolate and liquorice in the taste. Balanced and quite complex with a long, very attractive and lovely finish. Should be interesting to follow!Average score17.40
