Messias Miguel Valente is related on his mothers side to Messias Baptista who founded the house of Messias in 1926. After working several years at Messias he decided to create his own brand, Miguels.
Currently all Vintage Ports are sourced from the Messias family stock. Miguels (Wineland Lda) is a trading company and do not produce any wines.
In addition to vintage port, Miguels also have a large collection of Colheita Ports as well as other wines.
