Quinta da Gricha is situated on the south bank of the river Douro about five miles upriver from the village of Pinhão. It was bought by the Churchill family in 1999.

TasteMedium body. Toffee and cacao in the flavour. Sweet and very tasty. Quite mature but attractive and good with a nice finish and will be better. Easy to like indeed with nice finish.Average score15.85

TasteMedium bodied. Mature and almost peaking but can still develop a little. Balanced but quite dry at the end with lovely taste of cream candy, toffee and crème caramel. And with q quite long and exciting finish. Very easy to drink and enjoy.Average score

TasteMedium body. Modern style of port but of course balance and easy to drink and enjoy. Very tasty with dark berries and fruit. The finish is quite long and attractive.

BouquetDark berries, blue berry and mulberry but also mature fruit in the nose.
TasteMedium body. Round and very drinkable tannins but will of course be much better. Dry and quite high acidity. Balanced and quite tasty with an attractive, rather elegant finish.

TasteMedium body. Lots of lovely soft tannins. Quite wonderful taste with berries and liquorice. Balanced with a long and lovely finish. Will be interesting to follow
