Owner Stephen Christie

The company is said to be owned by Christies family with a history in the Port trade. However, they sold their stocks of port to Sandeman in 1989. They shipped vintage port under the name of Gonzales- Byass and Butler-Nephew. Gonzales Byass was purchased in 1983.

TasteMedium body. Mature and peaking. Balance and quite complex with thyme and basilica in taste. A lovely port to drink today. Drink up. We do not think it will be better. The finish is quite delicious and attractive but maybe a little short.Average score16.00

TasteMedium body. Still soft but with lovely and attractive tannins. Mature but will probably be better. Balanced but rather dry. Elegant with toffee, dark chocolate and spiciness in taste. Easy to drink and enjoy today with attractive and quite long finish.Average score15.38
