Owner	Stephen Christie

The company is said to be owned by Christies family with a history in the Port trade. However, they sold their stocks of port to Sandeman in 1989. They shipped vintage port under the name of Gonzales- Byass and Butler-Nephew. Gonzales Byass was purchased in 1983.

Bouquet	Rather generous bouquet of butterscotch, crème caramel, herbs and toffee in the nose.	Score range	15.90 - 16.50
Taste	Medium body. Mature and peaking. Elegant and balanced with fudge and butterscotch in taste. Easy to drink and like. A nice and attractive and quite long finish.	Average score	16.20

Taste	Medium body. Mature and peaking. Will not be better but elegant and quite sweet. Still some acidity and toffee, roasted coffee beans and candy in taste and quite attractive finish even if it is not so long.	Average score

Bouquet	Elegant and attractive bouquet with spiciness and herbs especially basilica and thyme in the nose.	Score range	16.00 - 16.00
Taste	Medium body. Mature and peaking. Balance and quite complex with thyme and basilica in taste. A lovely port to drink today. Drink up. We do not think it will be better. The finish is quite delicious and attractive but maybe a little short.	Average score	16.00

Taste	Medium body. Still soft but with lovely and attractive tannins. Mature but will probably be better. Balanced but rather dry. Elegant with toffee, dark chocolate and spiciness in taste. Easy to drink and enjoy today with attractive and quite long finish.	Average score	15.38
