Quinta do Vale da Mina
Quinta do Vale da Mina - Lemos & van Zeller
Owner | Lemos & van Zeller |
---|
When the van Zeller family sold Quinta do Noval in 1993, Cristiano van Zeller acquired Quinta do Vale da Mina in 1995. Quinta do Vale da Mina was sold in 2001 to a joint venture company with Jose Maria da Fonseca, a company called José Maria da Fonseca & van Zeller, SA (JMF & VZ). In 2005 Cristiano sold his shares in the company and Quinta do Vale da Mina was sold by JMF & VZ to a local farmer. The brand name, however, still belongs to Cristiano. The first Vintage Port, 1995, was bottled by Niepoort, and the 2003 vintage was produced and bottled by the Jose Maria da Fonseca & van Zellers joint venture company.
