In 1999 João Brito e Cunha started restoring the old houses in the property located at the river side opposite to Quinta da Romaneira, not far from Pinhao. In 2005 João Brito e Cunha bought the surrounding vineyard and the trade mark of Quinta de S. Jose.

TasteMedium body with light, elegant tannins. Balanced and rather delicate port with lots of dark berry and fruit in taste and with a nice quite soft and interesting finish.
