Lidador is a brand that has been used since the first half of the 20th century, mainly for Reserve Port and Tawny but somtimes also vintage port. We do know that the 1978 vintage was bottled and shipped by Joven Lda. Some years after that the Lidador brand was bottled by by The Douro Wine Shippers and Growers Association, linked to Barros Almeida. In 1997 Lidador was bottled by Hutchesson, Feuerheerd & Associados, wich was owned by Barros at the time. As far as we know the brand has not been in use since Sogevinus bought Barros and Hutcheson in 2006.
