Noble & Murat is a new port wine house declaring 2015 as their first Vintage Port. Yet the house has older roots and the lable states ”Rooted 1831 – Reborn 2016”. The original company was an English shipper formed from a series of partnerships in the early port trade. The roots and pedigree of the original company includes:

In 1723 the business names to "Harris, Page & Pratt" and in 1729 to Page & Pratt, followed by John Page in 1730, John Page & Son in 1754, John & Charles Page & Co in 1760, Page, Campion & Co. in 1761, Charles Page in 1771, Page & Co. in 1800, Page, Noble & Co. in 1802 and finally C H Noble & Murat in 1831 (see "Oporto Old and New", by Charles Sellers, 1899).

The brand ”Noble & Murat” had not been used for a century but was acquired by the two partners Alexandre Antas Botelho and António Borges Taveira in 2016 and the company, Noble & Murat, Lda., was founded, and reborn.

Noble & Murat has their winery located in Celeirós do Douro, Sabrosa and uses grapes from six quintas for their wine, three of which are family-owned and located in the Vale de Mendiz and Vale do Tedo.
